The Border Collie Dachshund Mix - Who's The Smartest Hot Dog?
This hybrid breed is the perfect combination of two outstanding pedigree dog breeds resulting in one adorable, super intelligent little bundle of joy. Whilst this mix of Dachshund and Collie (aka Dollie or Border Weenie), has been popular overseas for some time now, particularly amongst social influencers and their designer dogs. Dollies are rapidly gaining popularity among Australian families who want the best of both worlds!
The amazing genetics of these dog breeds score high on the scale of Best Family Dogs and the Top Intelligent Dog Breeds.
💛The Dollie dog will surprise you with their super intelligence, devotion, loyalty, attentiveness, playful nature, and oodles of affection. 💛
Literature and studies report that this cross breed predominantly take on the build of the Dachshund. Whilst the Dollie may have some physical characteristics of the Border Collie - particularly the coat types and variety of colours and patterns, Dachshund's genes, appear to be more dominant when it comes to stature, and a puppy is highly likely to inherit those cute little legs, floppy ears and elongated bodies.
Both parents have been tested and are clear of all genetic disorders and diseases.
Mum is a Pure Bred - Long Hair - Blue Merle Border Collie; and Dad is a Pure Bred - Smooth Coat - Shaded Red Miniature Dachshund and the result is ⭐️an adorable litter with a variety of stunning coat colours and patterns. ⭐️
As expected these little Dollies have the physique of the Miniature Dachshund. Our vets do not foresee any of this litter reaching the top end of the size range of a Standard Dachshund (20-25cm high and 7-15 kg). Miniature Dachshunds top out at 19cm high and 6.9 kg.
Pups are 7 weeks old and will be ready for new homes 07/06/25.
Pups are wormed fortnightly, microchipped, had 1st vaccination, vet checked, and BIN registered.
Raised in a family home with dogs, cats and birds on acreage in the Mary Valley Region - between Gympie and Sunshine Coast.
We are happy to assist with transport, and are available for support and advice regarding your new puppy.
